Notes on Current Operation

To clear up some confusion I would like to update y'all on Sugerman's Bagels current operation.  You can currently buy bagels a la carte at St. Coffee (2709 St. Claude) in the Marigny any day of the week. You can also enjoy a delicious Sugerman's Bagel breakfast sandwich at Satsuma (3218 Dauphine St.). On Saturday mornings you can buy bagels along with assorted artisan breads and pastries at either Hollygrove Market (8301 Olive St.) or Sankofa Market (3500 St. Claude).

If you want to buy bagels and breads in larger quantities feel free to order directly through me, Laura Sugerman, at laurasugerman@gmail.com or 203.858.2259.

Let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, or suggestions!

Bagel Break

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the bagel shortage in New Orleans is about to return.  On the 15th of April, I am departing on a bike trip to Minnesota and may be gone for about a month.  Unfortunately, while I am in the north lands the production of Sugerman's Bagels will have to cease.

However, they do freeze wonderfully and I highly encourage ordering in excess to tide you over while I am gone.  I will be baking as usual this Saturday, and may add an extra day next week depending on demand.

So sorry for this inconvenience.  When I return Sugerman's bagels will be bigger and better than before.
